Introducing Excelerator

Excelerator is a powerful Excel add-in that seamlessly integrates from Excel to Sage 200.

The convenience of using Excel, along with a user-friendly interface, ensures that work is completed in a shorter time than would be the case when using the Sage data entry screens.

Excelerator fully complies with Sage accounting standards providing control, validation and financial rigour. It ensures that data has financial integrity and is contained within the appropriate tables.

Excelerator can be internet-based, allowing users to effortlessly save data to Sage from Excel whilst working anywhere in the world.

Supported Platforms

Excelerator supports versions of Sage 200, Summer 2018 Release and above up to Sage 200 2025 R2 (the latest version at time of writing).

Excelerator works with all on-premise versions of MS Office, including Microsoft 365 (Formerly Office 365) and Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise E3 / E5

Sage Partner Cloud

Excelerator successfully completed testing under ISV capacity when Sage launched the Sage Partner Cloud. Version 3.3.119 or greater of Excelerator is required.

Please note: Excel must be deployed on the Azure clients.

There is a known issue with Sage 2022 R1 and R2 and the new Excelerator print functionality.

This is resolved in release 3.5..118 of Excelerator.

Earlier versions of Sage 200 are supported on a best endeavours basis only. Please contact Codis support regarding this.

Security Features

  • Excelerator uses the same method that users use to log into Sage 200. Usually this is windows credentials.
  • If the user has restricted access in Sage 200, they will have the same restrictions in Excelerator.
  • Any actions done in Excelerator will appear in the Sage 200 audit trail as if that same action was taken in Sage.
  • During the installation of Excelerator, our servers are sent your IT admin's Microsoft email address in order to assign the licence, and an optional opt-in email for marketing purposes. These are sent via an encrypted connection (https).
  • Besides that, during the installation and usage of Excelerator no sensitive data is sent anywhere besides directly to/from your Sage 200 system and the spreadsheet
