Save and Load Range Definition

Overview

Excelerator provides a powerful tool that allows a template definition to be applied to an Excel sheet, including sheets that already have data on them.

Info

This can be very useful in circumstances where you have data provided by third parties in the form of a spreadsheet or CSV file that you want to import into Sage.

A map of where Excelerator ranges are on a sheet, and some attributes of the ranges, can be saved to a file, and then loaded into a different sheet.

These attributes are:

  • Range colour
  • Conditional formats (like those used to give alternating lines)
  • Cell formats in the ranges
  • Alignment
  • Range Borders
